CRS Center staffer wins IAAP's ‘Member of the Year’ award

Susie Billings’ work with the [Bryan/College Station chapter] (http://www.iaap-bcs.org/IAAPHQ/BryanCollegeStation/Home/) of the [International Association of Administrative Professionals] (http://www.iaap-hq.org/) earned the administrative assistant at Texas A&M’s [CRS Center] (http://archone.tamu.edu/crs/) the chapter’s "Member of the Year 2010-2011" award.

She was honored during a chapter gathering June 21, 2011 at the College Station Conference Center where she was also installed as its 2011-12 president.

Billings’ work with the chapter has included organizing two professional development seminars, a school supply drive, a lunch for workers building a Habitat for Humanity home, and scheduling professional development speakers to the group’s monthly meetings.

The Bryan/College Station chapter strives to be the recognized leader for professional development of office personnel in the Brazos Valley by inspiring and equipping office professionals to attain excellence.

The IAAP is a not-for-profit professional association for office professionals with approximately 28,000 members and affiliates and nearly 600 chapters worldwide. Its mission is to enhance the success of career-minded administrative professionals by providing opportunities for growth through education, community building and leadership development.
