Landscape architecture programs again ranked among nation’s best

Texas A&M’s [landscape architecture] (http://laup.arch.tamu.edu/) programs were once again ranked among the nation’s best in annual [lists] (https://di-rankings.com/landscape-architecture-schools.html#mostAdmired) published by DesignIntelligence, a company that helps design and construction firms, as well as built environment educators, anticipate future industry trends.

The university’s undergraduate landscape architecture program ranked ninth, and the graduate program 13 th , on lists of institutions with the most-admired faculty, campus culture, and student preparation for the professional world.

The rankings are compiled from a survey of professional practice leaders with direct experience hiring and supervising the performance of recent design graduates.

Respondents also ranked Texas A&M’s landscape architecture programs among the nation’s best in key focus areas.

The university’s undergraduate program was ranked sixth in research, seventh in practice management, eighth in engineering fundamentals and interdisciplinary studies, and 10 th in design technologies.

Its graduate program was ranked seventh in engineering fundamentals, interdisciplinary studies, and project planning and management, eighth in healthy built environments and construction materials and methods, ninth in architecture, engineering and construction collaboration, and 10 th in research and design technologies.
