Intricate handkerchief drawings by Karen Hillier, a former visualization faculty member at Texas A&M, will be on display in Houston’s [BLUEorange Contemporary Art Gallery] (http://blueorangehouston.com) from April 13 - May 12, 2013.

“The transparency of Hillier’s pieces illuminate and breathe life into her precise and delicate marks,” states an entry on the gallery’s website.

An opening reception for the show, “Unforgotten,” is scheduled April 13 from 6-9 p.m. at the gallery, 1208 West Gray Street.

Hillier’s work will be on display with chair-based sculptures by artist Clay McClure.
