Nominations for outstanding college alumni due March 1

Anyone can [nominate] (http://www.arch.tamu.edu/community/formerstudents/outstanding-alumni/) a College of Architecture former student for the Outstanding Alumni Award.

Nominations for the 2016 College of Architecture Outstanding Alumni Awards are due by March 1, 2016.

“This award recognizes the exemplary leadership, relentless pursuit of excellence, exceptional talents and numerous accomplishments of the recipients,” said Jorge Vanegas, dean of the Texas A&M University College of Architecture. “We strongly encourage those who know a former student deserving of this prestigious honor to nominate him or her.”

Anyone may nominate a former student for the award following the [criteria and process] (http://www.arch.tamu.edu/community/formerstudents/nomination-process/) detailed on the Outstanding Alumni Award [website] (http://www.arch.tamu.edu/community/formerstudents/outstanding-alumni/) , where [nomination forms] (http://www.arch.tamu.edu/media/cms_page_media/215/OA_nomination.pdf) are available.

Since its inception in 1997, less than one percent of the college’s former students have received this award, the college’s highest honor.

Completed nomination packages should be mailed by March 1, 2016 to Deanna Cowan, Office of the Dean, College of Architecture, 3137 TAMU, College Station, TX 77843-3137 or faxed to 979.845.4491.

The 2015 Outstanding Alumni honorees were recognized at an Oct. 11 banquet at the Miramont Country Club in Bryan, Texas.
