M.Arch graduate Grossnicklaus editing Dallas AIA magazine

Chris Grossnicklaus ‘06, a Texas A&M Master of Architecture graduate, is editor-in-chief of [Columns] (http://www.aiadallas.org/displaycommon.cfm?an=1&subarticlenbr=101) magazine, a quarterly publication of the American Institute of Architects’ Dallas chapter.

Grossnicklaus will oversee production of the magazine that provides contemporary, critical thought leadership on topics of significance to the North Texas architectural community and to professionals in related industries while serving as chairman of the AIA Dallas Publications Committee.

The appointment is part of a recent overhaul of Columns to better meet the evolving needs of its advertisers and readers with a more innovative and focused approach.

Grossnicklaus comes to the magazine with experience serving as editor-In-chief of AssociateNews, a newsletter of AIA’s National Associates Committee, and a background in architecture and journalism. He earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Texas A&M in 2003.

Grossnicklaus, also a full-time architect with RTKL’s [Healthcare] (http://www.rtkl.com/Markets/38/Healthcare.aspx) group, has participated in a wide variety of projects in the Dallas area from small regional clinics to large-scale replacement facilities.
